If Cloud Atlas and Tree of Life had a baby

This is seriously underrated. It isn't complicated, it isn't deep, it's a perfectly beautiful, well acted, well written and well edited. There's so much space in which it could have lingered too long, and didn't.Personally, I'd have preferred a little slower progression in the time jumps but I am very glad I decided to ignore the ratings on this one.Critic reviews are baffling and lead me to believe there's some kind of socio-political motive behind them.

Pleasantly surprised, the rating is wrong

The rating on this movie is wrong. You will laugh, you will cry, you will search your soul and reminisce about those that have gone before you.3 different times from past, present, and future. And how they all matter to each. I loved itHug your friends and family, it is the most important thing in this fleeting speck of infinite time we call life.

Vita vivenda est. Carpe vita.

"In the Blink of an Eye" isn't a film for everyone, but sometimes we need to see a film like this. It's a series of three stories, spaced far apart in time, that illustrate human fear and reaction to death and the continuation of the species, as well as its survival in the face of adversity. It's a solid and creative script, coupled with very competent direction and actors who know exactly what they're doing. It's also an excellent film about humanity, about tolerance, about the family we've been given and the family we've chosen to have. But, as I wrote before, "In the Blink of an Eye" isn't a film for everyone. But for some, a few among many, watching it will be a great and captivating surprise.
