Easy viewing

The point of this movie is to not take it too seriously. The plot is predictable with a classic rom com structure, with the point being to enjoy a fresh African take on the genre. It's not meant to be realistic, just fun with lots of laughs, stunning views of the Western Cape, and a feel good story to leave you feeling good at the end of it all.

It just works

An overplayed story line delivered with such a fresh and cute perspective. Ntobeko Sishi and Masali Baduza have amazing chemistry and perfomed amazingly. It's a movie that warms your heart and has you grinning at your screen like an idiot even though you know exactly what is going to happen. Loved it.
