Entertaining and decent

Finally, a comedy that can be watched by all the family together on a Friday night.. As a new immigrant family, having a hard time to adjust, this show was hilarious we laughed a lot and we loved it so much.. comedy should be simple real life experiences and I think this is what it was about. Also Marcelo's mom whom she introduced him is gorgeous there's a beautiful bond between them.. looking for more from Marcelo he's great..

Latino humour, good show.

I like Marcello Hernandez as Marco Rubio in Saturday Night Live so I was curious if his stand-up comedy would contain some jokes about the disastrous things that are going on since the orange goblin took office in The White House. I mean there is an endless amount of material there as everyday the goblin and his minions make themselves completely ridiculous. But no he didn't take that opportunity, sadly I would say. That said his show was funny and well brought. Of course he made some Latino and Whites comparisons which were actually spot on. It's a good show, worth watching.

Not great not terrible

I like Marcello, he's funny and a good cast member at SNL.His first special is better than many "first tries", but he is not yet on the level to keep an audience interested.What I noticed is that he tries to be many things at once, yet hasn't reached a high level in any of them. The influences and inspirations from legendary comedians are clear to see, but he can't decide if he wants to be a physical comedian, a political comedian, a relatable comedian or whatever other types there are. This results in parts of the special being all over the place and kind of bland.I had a couple of good chuckles, but it was all on the level of a friend doing his first standup at a local pub. You laugh because you want to support them, not because it's actually funny.
