Plot summary

Did not like the drama

This would've been a much stronger film if it had focused solely on the survival aspect-humans being hunted by other humans-without the unnecessary father-daughter drama. That subplot really detracted from the tension and ended up being more frustrating than meaningful. The daughter's character was very very annoying.

Ryan Phillipe is Good As Always, Film is OK

Even though it feels like a rehash of a lot of films and TV before it, One Mile is passable enough thanks to Ryan Phillipe's commanding performance. Adam Davidson doesn't shy from B-grade story tricks, but it works enough. Weirdly though is the need to turn this into a two-series trilogy when it was clear the story was over in this one.
