Friends for Life? Flying Friends lose? I should have thought this through I reckon - so no pun intended. The movie is well done and the effects are good.Suspend your disbelief and go with the flow (wave?) ... which is quite one to ride here. Especially at the beginning where you have to carefully get everything the makers intended for you to enjoy. Decent effort with good acting for sure (and very well shot - not just the scenes at sea)

I cried

I love the movie. I have been a fan of Saint Exupery since I was around 9 years old. He gets back to me every 7 to 8 years. This is the third stage of my life when he "visited", I feel is when I mostly needed him in a grown way. Visually this film looked very pleasing, I find it beautiful how sounds of certain objects like a train for an example, fits into music that is playing at that moment. The beauty of Exupery's story, his courage and ability to see life through a different angle is truly inspiring. Great actors. I think this wasn't supposed to be 100% accurate so I feel like it depicted his story well enough.

Not bad

The little prince was in every household, therefore the story of the author was expected with excitement. The story is about the period with his childhood friend Gillaumet and them working for the postal service between Argentina and Chile. So far so good. They are childhood friends and same age. Now here is the problem, when they got older the age difference is nearly 20 years.So here is my criticism. Why do they take Cassal Age 57 to play a 29 year old? Saint Ex should be 30, played by a 41 year old still ok. Diane Krueger chosen to fit Cassal's Age.Does the french movie industry not have young actors? So the choice of actors, although good actors was bad.The images were great, but the scenes on the plane not realistic!
