Good story but

The acting in this movie is horrible! Where did they get these people from? I know this is a true story, but some of it seemed so far-fetched. This guy was such a scumbag. I honestly don't know how he got away with any of the murders for as long as he did. I know there has to be more to the story, but it was so hard to get past the bad acting. It was laughable.
