Plot summary

A group of young Friends discover an ancient statue that unleashes an Evil Spirit who enslaves them to collect human blood so that the Evil Spirit can come back to life and rule the world. It's up to a Detective, a Priest, and a Pizza Boy to infiltrate the groups sinister compound to ward the Evil Spirit from the Earth before it's too late.

A pretty solid effort, if intentional

Based on the trailer I was expecting a pretty bad movie, and it was. But the writing and performances were so bad it's good. I have a feeling the movie was made this way intentionally, much like The VelociPastor. The dialogue from the leads and the priest had me laughing a lot. The best acting in the film is the detective, but mostly facial expressions over delivery.The cinematography and sound design was actually pretty good, at parts. Almost too good for the kind of movie this was. The vfx aren't great, but also better than I expected. The pizza boy saves this movie from being the complete mess I expected to experience. Every line of his got a chuckle from me.Indie films are not easy to make, so if you know your movie isn't going to be perfect, embrace its flaws. The Evil Rises did that.

terrible

This movie is just more garbage. How and why these crappy films are made...I'll never understand.
