A fun ride that hits all the right notes

Loved it. Normally, I don't even watch thrillers or horror movies but this one just grabbed me. Part of it was the writing - the characters' problems felt real but not overwrought; the situations were eerily close for comfort, elevating the stakes, and the plot offered one unforeseeable twist after another that kept me locked in. I saw it with friends (though would readily see it again with family, a date, or even alone) and we all left talking about it, and feeling well-entertained. Sometimes these days the movie pickings feel a little slim, but this one was a breath of fresh air that restored my confidence in Hollywood's ability to tell a riveting story.
