Plot summary

Emma Bryant feels swallowed by the growing darkness of today's culture. Forced to move in with her grandpa, she stumbles upon an old diary that transports her into a world far different from her own. Beautifully done!

The Ground Beneath Our Feet beautifully reflects the far-reaching consequences of living a life apart from obedience to Jesus. The director was able to do this by transporting the audience between eras...revealing how even one negative life choice will affect generations to come. I alao appreciated how tne director took pain-staking care to match the costumes and background props to match the era being depicted in each scene. Very well-done!

Much needed message of hope

This film is beautifully made and easy to get lost in. The camera work is stunning, with gorgeous landscapes and close-ups that come at just the right moments. The colors enhance the mood, the music is moving, and the acting is authentic and compelling. Most of all, the story stays with you long after the movie is over.

Remarkably beautiful!

Each scene is truly a work of art. I loved the artistry that went into the scenes and was refreshed by the beauty they displayed. This movie is thought provoking as we often struggle knowing the grounding God gives us in Christ. I love the combination of artistry with the hope we have in His redeeming grace!
