a surreal dive into psychosis and deep christian analogy

From the deep psychosis of the first half and ending of the moving to the christian analogy and shedding of social stigmas and cultural norms. This movie is a master pieces backed by a golden sound track. For those who are willing to listen to the deeper messages and notice the biblical imagery, this movie is deep and thought out. Full of amazing shots and well thought out cinematography. With deep characterization, and world building. A must watch for the open minded movie watcher.

This 2024 Canadian film by DIY self-described director, Braden Sitter Sr. Is a complicated mess. Nonetheless ... if screened under an art house setting it can be interpreted as a filmic exploration of very dry Absurdist Comedy (yes, there's such a thing). It can be viewed as a mockumentary since it's inspiration were factual bizarre crimes. In Canada, a series of attacks nearby university campuses where a man threw feces at innocent people. The story has an insight to what may have motivated these 2019 crimes - was it a conspiracy, either just malicious or a mental health issue? The main character, "Miguel" played by Rishi Rodriguez hones the idea of Absurdist comedic tropes. He gives good performances whether in the nude covered entirely with feces (which looked like a melted Chocolate milk shake) or stalking innocent victims. The cast also includes Neal Armstrong and cult icon, Paul Bellini. While it lacks in story pacing (segments are broken in "chapters" with title cards) it makes it up with interesting visuals. Like a scene requiring the typical point and shoot location evolve into strong macro, abstracted shots of a television monitor. Many reviewers have highlighted the DIY aspects of this film due to low production values. The director himself has been known to attend the screenings doing film promotion. Creating DIY posters, he posts them nearby whatever areas near screenings. In all, his method is a good-steady, DIY marketing tool humbly challenging present-day dependencies on social media (if electricity is there, not going away).Overall, this film is better received at arthouse screen communities but an average filmgoer may appreciate a good music soundtrack (parodied versions of past hits).
