This is a good one

8.4 stars.Hallmark got this one right. It's a numbers game for sure, they mass produce at least fifty films a year (give or take); a third of them are decent, maybe one out of ten is excellent. In this instance, it's one of the best of 2025-2026.The love story is organic and the attraction is palpable, yet very tasteful. This is simply a very cute love story. Sure, it's totally standard for Hallmark, but they captured the essence of good chemistry and entertainment in a way that never fails to satisfy. I know it can be a lot of effort to get it perfect, but they accomplished it with 'The Way to You'. I'll be putting this on the yearly watchlist.

This was fun

I truly enjoyed the ride in this one - the premise was fresh , the growth between the two leads was not rushed except for the ending. It was predictable that they would connect and at least one would find the connection they had been looking for after - the chemistry between the leads in a Hallmark Rom-Com is critical and this one was better than most , the writing was crisp and the direction kept the story moving at good pace - the only reason I didn't go to a 9 or 10 was the mixed race back up couple - I am really getting tired of the socially correct mis information on TV -I have lived in 1/2 dozen states and only met one Hispanic / Caucasian couple in Az - I looked it up and less than 1% of marriages each year are mixed race yet if you believe TV they approach 50% - sorry - just annoying - I disliked being preached to.

A notch above the usual Hallmark

This one was engaging from the start. An unusual setting in New York sets it apart from the endless small town settings Hallmark is known for. The lead actress is fun and adorable and the (slow) developing romance with our male lead is believable and sweet. I agree with the previous reviewer that the ending could have been more satisfying- more time to enjoy them as a couple; but even so it was an enjoyable watch.
