A film with heart

I found The Wedding Party quietly enjoyable in a way that surprised me. There were parts that felt uneven, but overall, it was genuinely warm. Some parts felt messy, even a little frustrating, but I found myself rooting for the characters anyway. Though there were moments of humor, more than anything, it felt human: awkward, emotionally charged, and familiar in its family tensions. It didn't try to be slick or profound, but it had heart, and that's what kept me watching.

Love this movie!

Loved this film from script to edit and am so impressed with everyone's excellent work! Talented filmmakers, cast, crew et al really put their talents together to bring this story to life, and with lots of laughs and loads of heart, it delivers on its promise of being a fun film for movie nights with friends and family.

When the road gets rough, stick with siblings!

The Wedding Party is now officially released. We premiered at the 2025 Zions Indie Film Fest on February 26, 2025 at 5:15pm in Orem, Utah. It's been a superlative night. Getting to share this film with even more loved ones as well as some new friends and peers was exhilarating. Hearing all the laughs and sniffles at something that i wrote with my best friend, my brother, was profound and wholly fulfilling. I'm so glad that our film continues to resonate with people and i can't wait to bring The Wedding Party to and connect with an even wider audience in the coming months of our year-long festival run.
