Plot summary

Sloane and four classmates take cover in Cortege High to escape a world plagued by the infected. As danger relentlessly pounds on the doors, Sloane begins to see the world through the eyes of those who actually want to live and takes matters into her own hands.

Worst Zombie Movie Ever

This is the worst zombie movie I've ever seen. Characters are so dumb they walk into their own deaths. Every character literally makes the worst choice possible. Several times they stand still and wait to be attacked by a zombie. They approach obviously bitten characters with no regard to their own personal safety. Literally tell other characters not to come with them when they are going into a clearly dangerous situation. The writing is so incredibly bad.

Does the book justice!

I always get nervous with book to film adaptations, but Adam MacDonald hit this one out of the park. It's the perfect mix of mood, nostalgia, and straight up horror. I do think this film leans more towards psychological horror than *brains*, and Olivia delivers a perfect performance as Sloane: our heroine who struggles to find the will to survive. I can't wait to reread THIS IS NOT A TEST after watching this!

Favorite book to the screen!

I saw this at the Brooklyn Horror Festival. I loved Courtney Summer's THIS IS NOT A TEST when it published in 2012, and I was so excited to see it being made into a movie. The adaptation was amazing!! The director did an incredible job of bringing the book to life, and I was riveted the whole time. I can't wait to see it again in theaters!
