Plot summary

Five beautiful girls vie for a chance to become the spokesmodel for diva DeeDee DeVille's new high-end line of lingerie. The claws come out when the competition gets fierce, but when they begin to disappear one by one, they soon find that they are competing for their lives...

Not one of Band's better films

UNLUCKY CHARMS, aka MISCREATIONS, is another Full Moon cheapie directed by Charles Band and seemingly shot in the same handful of back-stage locations. This one's based on a TV talent show and involves a group of assembled models residing at a creepy old location where they're assailed by the usual bodily deformed monsters and freaks. The acting is pretty poor here, the characters strictly two dimensional, and many of the extended dialogue scenes grate. But Band chucks in the usual nudity and monster mayhem to keep things moving along, although the latter doesn't seem quite as fun as in some of his other productions, and the ending is a real dud.

No luck found

Unlucky Charms directed by acclaim director Charles Band takes a spin and parody turn upon the television series America's Top Models added in with a horror twist featuring monsters (leprechauns, a cyclops and other weird creatures).The plot of this film is quite confusing. In part of what occurs with the female judge. Was not sure if she was apart of the gag or why exactly she needed the charms. It wasn't clear enough.The acting is what we would expect from a low budget B- movie like this. The effects aren't completely terrible including the creatures (they do look creepy). There is some entertainment but the problem is the movie isn't funny enough.The film is really short and it almost feels like parts of it were cut. It seems like it was rushed to finish for whatever reason. Surely they could have added 10 more minutes to explain clearer in the end.
