Don't even bother...

Well, I have to say that I harbored no expectations to the movie, as its cover just permeated low budget. But I still opted to give it a fair chance. But oh dear God, had I known this was a Jamie Grefe movie prior to sitting down to watch it, I wouldn't even have given the movie a second glance. I've had the misfortune to watch a couple of his movies, and they are utter garbage. So I would be more than surprised if "Dance the Kung Fu" proved to be otherwise.Yeah, I have to say that I have a strong aversion towards movies that are written by, directed by and starring the one and same person. And such are Jamie Grefe movies. The storyline in the movie was a swing and a miss. Actually, there wasn't really a storyline. In all honesty, it felt like Jamie Grefe was just making stuff up as the shooting progressed. It was boring and bland, and despite just running for 70 minutes, this movie proves an amazing battle of wills to suffer through.Of the entire cast ensemble, I was only familiar with Jamie Grefe, and he is by no means a talented actor. Some of the acting performances from the other cast members were fair enough. There is some odd vocal track running throughout the movie, with some off-key singing or something, and it was just ridiculous and served absolutely no purpose aside from causing distress with the viewers. It simply is beyond my comprehension why these amateur home video projects get funded and released. My rating of writer and director Jamie Grefe's 2025 movie "Dance the Kung Fu" lands on a very generous two out of ten stars.
