A fantastic movie to "watch" during a nap

A promising title does not propel this school project of a movie to anywhere near a level of mediocrity. This movie feels like it was made for $5 on a Sunday. Unabashedly and spectacularly bad. Please, for the love of God do not waste your time on this movie unless, of course, you plan to nap and need some background noise. Then, it's perfect!

My First Viewing Of A Jamie Grefe Project

This has the look of a movie more than the other four films of Jamie Grefe that I've watched recently...which isn't saying much but it is a slight improvement. The cinematography is okay. Nothing is out of focus, and it's framed well throughout...but it definitely has a cheap feel to it, but not super cheap like low budget films from the 80's/90's looked like. Editing is good since the plot moves along, but the story here isn't that intense or heavy with a lot going on.Sound is very unprofessional since there isn't a single boom mike in the making of this. So the sound is coming from the camera, and even though the dialog is minimal...it sounds weak.Acting is great from Sofia Papuashvili, since she had to act like a robot. I can see other actresses breaking character and the editing not hiding it, but Ms. Papuashvili was very professional in her scenes and makes the movie as best as it can be.I'd be surprised if this movie took more than a weekend to shoot, and another weekend to edit and wrap it all together. This movie is very basic, especially when your cast consists of the writer/director and one actress. Easily the best work from Jamie Grefe that I've seen from my choices. The ending will leave you shaking your head since it's so lazily done that you will wonder why the writer/director would do it this way, since you are robbing viewers of their payoff...and also 71 minutes of their time.

Pretty terrible...

Oh dear God, when I saw that the movie was not only starring Jamie Grefe, but also written and directed by him, I have to admit that my expectations to the movie went from slim to absolutely none. I've seen one of two of his movies before and they have been absolutely atrocious. And a shame, really, because the movie's title and cover was actually proving to be interesting. And movies that are written by, directed by and starring the one and same person is nine out of ten times questionable affairs. The storyline in the movie was okay, but it was so poorly executed and brought to the screen that it became a bore rather quickly. And the movie was just filled with prolonged shots of the actress doing mundane things over and over, and that just didn't play out as entertainment for me.Needless to say that I was only familiar with Jamie Grefe given my exposure to some of his previous questionable work. The acting performances in this movie? Well, they were not among the worst of acting performances I've seen, at least. But you're not in for anything grand. This was something that looked, felt and seemed like it was filmed on Jamie Grefe's mobile phone.Do not waste 71 minutes on this garbage. The movie's cover was actually the best thing about the entire ordeal. My rating of writer and director Jamie Grefe's 2025 movie "Robot Girlfriend: Revenge" lands on a generous one out of ten stars.
