Cute Hallmark style romance

It's not about Christmas, but it was shown during the Christmas season when there are so many of these cute romcoms. I have a long list of these to watch, and this is actually the first one to truly fit the image of a Hallmark movie.Sari (short for Rosario) is the perfect mix of intelligent and determined with attractive and likable. It is never explained why she is white and the rest of her family is Asian, but being white myself, I am more likely to identify with her if she is too.Gabe is also quite likable and the actor does a good job.I like the sisters too but I have a hard time telling them apart or identifying what makes either one distinctive. Both are intelligent and adorable in their way.Alex is a little harder to take but being a businessman (though quite young for such ambition), he has this attitude one might expect from at least one person in a movie like this. Usually that's the male star. Success for people like this often means sacrificing what made a community special.Unlike so many romcoms, this one has a meet cute that is truly cute, and the conflict comes later. Yes, there is conflict, and you wonder if things will be resolved, but you want to root for both stars.Tita must mean aunt, and the titas are often together and adorable in their way. This isn't as G-rated as a Hallmark movie. People don't necessarily wait for marriage, even though they go to church. Still, it is more family friendly than other movies I have seen so far. This story reminds me a lot of "Elemental", which I saw around the same time. That movie is animated and much more complicated because the characters are not human, but both movies have similar themes. Immigrant parents came to a new country and worked hard while being discriminated against, eventually building a successful business, only to have at least one child who does not desire to continue the family tradition. And in both movies, the community with the common ethnicity is threatened by something ominous.I wasn't crazy about the music, but I'm not in the target audience. If you watch a lot of romcoms at Christmas or any other time, this should certainly be one of them.
