Captivating

I planned to watch this movie another evening. I just wanted to see the first few minutes. But I ended up watching the whole movie at once at 10 o clock in the morning.This could have easilly been a Hallmark movie, but the lead characters, especially Jenna Boyd, are much more genuine and believable. Captivating!

Wholesome 90s romance

I haven't read the book (which I'm now looking forward to!) but this felt to me like one of the quintessential romance films of the 90s. Spellbinding chemistry between Olivia and Nicholas, beautiful locations and colors. I was most touched by the televised speech of Prince Nicholas and the perfect ending (no spoilers!). I hope there'll be a sequel and I've already ordered the book.

Fast-paced but the lead actress made up for it

Pacing felt a bit like yanking us all over to get where we needed to be in such a short time and, as a result, left a lot of plot lines shallower than they could have been, but the portrayal of Olivia more than made up for it. Funny and charming and gorgeous, the lead actress carried this movie. The chemistry was great, and she had me feeling the depths of Olivia's emotions even with the rushed story. Would definitely watch again.
