Plot summary

A brilliant, principled mercenary with a traumatic past works with an insider to steal a valued asset from Peredor Corporation called “the sphere”. The C & Earth corporation, vying for global dominance, seeks to find a solution to an otherworldly technology via a scientist’s project. Meanwhile, a financial analyst, who despises his job at the powerful investment firm Mutual One, finds himself caught between deadly corporate rivals, financial fraud, and technological espionage, and is ultimately forced to run from a psychopathic military contractor.

A fun film if a bit too long

A fun ride, clearly a passion project with wonderful effects and performances. It's about 30 minutes too long with a rather Deux Ex Machina ending but worth the watch.A lot like the world of Cyberpunk 2077 with a lot of the same names for things and art design. If you liked that game, you'll enjoy this film.

A Thrilling Sci-Fi Ride

The Dresden Sun is an action-packed science fiction film anchored by intense and credible performances. The story weaves together themes of mind-bending invention, revenge, corporate greed, and deceit, creating a thrilling experience that holds your attention throughout. Each actor delivers standout moments as the story unfolds, adding depth and energy to the film.For me, the plot's twists were genuinely unpredictable, which made the experience all the more exciting. Credit is due to the director for crafting a film that is engaging and pleasing to the senses. It's refreshing to be reminded that it's still fun to find yourself pressed back in your seat, gripping the arms of your theater chair.Having watched films in theaters for decades, I was especially pleased to see The Dresden Sun, much of it filmed locally, on the big screen here in Redding, California. It was a rewarding experience, and I wish the filmmakers the very best in their future projects.

Pure Passion

This was such a fun experience! This is a special movie with a lot of real blood, sweat, and tears put behind it. You could really feel the passion behind this project all the way through.There's a lot of fun ideas, action, surprises, drama, and so many cool sequences throughout the entire film! I'm glad I got to see it in the theater! Especially for it being shot locally in Redding and myself being included as an extra.
