The best part about this film was its antagonists. Lauren Validus and Blair Hunter are such captivating and tragic villains and are such fresh takes on the evil superman trope, especially Lauren. Everytime she was on screen made the film 10x more interesting, but it sucks that she didn't get enough screentime. She is literally a multiversal ending threat, but is layered and extremely personal which was balanced out very well by the writers in a way that felt completely different from all of the other evil superman copies like Omni-man and homelander. All of this combined with Brianna D'Ambra's captivating performance really sells this film for me. Same with Blair Hunter, but I will say, it felt like there was so much effort put in to these two that the writing of the protagonists felt a little shallow, but not to the point where it breaks the film.
