Without knowing what I was in for here, aside from it being a thriller, I opted to sit down and watch the 2026 movie "Caught Slippin", simply because I had the opportunity. And since I do believe in giving all movies a fair chance, of course I needed no persuasion to check out this particular movie from writer and director Kinnedy Storay.The 3.0 rating here on IMDb didn't exactly do much to instill any hopes for a grand movie experience, but I still opted to give the movie the benefit of the doubt.Writer Kinnedy Storay put together a semi-adequate script and storyline. I mean, it was a watchable movie, for sure, but hardly an outstanding or memorable thriller. It was a bit on the simplistic side.I actually do believe that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Which was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie, as I enjoy watching new talents on the screen. The acting performances in "Caught Slippin" was were fair.Running at a mere 60 minutes, it was a bit of a short movie. It was a watchable enough movie, but hardly an outstanding thriller. Nor is it a movie that warrants more than a single viewing.My rating of writer and director Kinnedy Storay's 2026 thriller "Caught Slippin" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
