Good found footage

This film really stands out in the found footage genre. The acting feels natural and grounded, which makes the story all the more immersive and believable. Unlike many films in this style, the production value is impressively high - from the sound design to the cinematography, everything feels polished without losing the raw authenticity that found footage requires. What truly elevates it, though, is how well we get to know the characters and their dynamic. Their relationships feel real and layered, so when tension builds, it genuinely matters. A strong entry in the genre that balances technical quality with emotional investment.

Painful

Here's why this movie exists: 1. Joe Bob Briggs owed someone a favour 2. Someone had access to a werewolf costume and wanted to make a cheap buckCue a solid hour of pretty young people wandering around a town, talking to locals in haphazard, meandering scenes I think were almost entirely ad-libbed with little to no direction, then about ten minutes of running around in the woods at night before people die.The draw is Joe Bob Briggs, horror community favourite, the only reason I think most people will click on this. It's a trap. If you're a fan of his, you won't see much of him.Found footage, a genre I'm deeply fond of, unfortunately works as a wonderful microcosm of the horror genre in general: a handful of genuine masterpieces, a handful of really fun but dumb movies, and a titanic deluge of creatively bankrupt slop. Fairfield County Four is slop of the saddest kind: a Blair Witch Project derivative. Folks, just because BWP did it, doesn't mean you have to, as well. If Joe Bob Briggs wasn't in this, I wouldn't hesitate to say this was spliced together genAI video.Don't even watch this pathetic nonsense for free.

Why was this made?

Terrible movie. The entire film drags with slow pacing, weak dialogue, and almost no real payoff. You keep waiting for something to happen... and it just never does.The only actual "action" comes in the last five minutes, and even that feels rushed and underwhelming after sitting through the rest of it.If you happen to find this for free, just fast-forward to the end. You won't miss anything important.
