jesus christ no more

It was horror for sure...horrifying to watch. I feel threatened by the possibility of a sequel. Kudos for trying tho. I can see you did your best to stick to the original anaconda films. It was hard. Seems like a low budget but you made the best of it. Never give up lads. A failure is only a mission to improve (please dont make another film)

Waste of time

It is one of the worst movies I have watched. I recently watched Anaconda (2026) and honestly it was very disappointing. The movie felt cheap from beginning to end. The production quality looked low, and many scenes seemed rushed or poorly made. For a modern movie, the visual effects and overall budget really didn't feel convincing.Another big problem was the acting. Several of the actresses didn't seem natural in their roles, and the performances often felt forced. Instead of drawing you into the story, the acting made it hard to take the movie seriously.The original Anaconda movies were known for suspense and fun adventure, but this version lacked that excitement. The tension wasn't strong, and the story didn't feel very engaging.

This was terribly bad...

I was a bit surprise to come to learn that there was still life in the "Anaconda" franchise. I did believe that the Jack Black and Paul Rudd remake was the final nail in the coffin. And here I am, in 2026, sitting down to watch the "Anaconda: Blood Coil" movie.The storyline in "Anaconda: Blood Coil", as written by C. M. Wright, was mundane and somewhat laughable. Sure, it was straightforward, but it as also insanely simplistic to the point where it became a farce. I was left with a sense that the script was written by two preteen movie viewers that had just watched the original "Anaconda" movie and now wanted to make their own movie. I have to admit that I was a bit taken aback that such a script would sneak into the "Anaconda" franchise. Surely this will be the final nail in the coffin for the franchise.I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which was one thing that certainly spoke in favor of the movie. The acting performances in the movie were adequate, but often bordered on being subpar. So don't get your hopes up.While the CGI animated snake wasn't exactly poorly rendered, it just didn't blend in naturally with the screen, making it stand out like a sore thumb. And that really was something that held the movie back, because a movie about a gargantuan snake needs proper and believable special effects in order to be properly effective. And "Anaconda: Blood Coil" didn't have that going on for it.My rating of director Justin Carter's 2026 movie "Anaconda: Blood Coil" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.
